Beasiswa LPDP Tahap 2 Tahun 2026 is a national talent-development initiative that finances master’s, doctoral, and selected strategic programs in Indonesia and overseas. The available opportunities do not consist solely of regular academic degree funding, but also include pathways designed to respond to national development priorities, such as STEM Industri Strategis, SHARE for the social sciences, humanities, arts, religion, and education, partnership programs, double-degree or joint-degree arrangements, special cooperation schemes, accelerated study at leading universities, and selected non-degree programs. Through this investment, LPDP expects awardees to demonstrate academic competence, leadership, integrity, national commitment, and a clear contribution plan after graduation. Funding components may include tuition and supporting allowances according to the specific guidelines of each program. Applicants must therefore review the requirements of the selected scheme carefully rather than relying only on general scholarship provisions. The choice of field, university, and destination country should be consistent with the applicant’s academic background, professional experience, career plan, and intended contribution.
The application process is completed through the LPDP portal and involves account creation, profile completion, scheme selection, document upload, and final submission until a registration code is generated. Documents commonly required include identification, diplomas, academic transcripts, proof of language proficiency, recommendations, university admission documents when applicable, and essays or other materials specified by the selected program. After administrative screening and the appeal period, applicants may be required to take a scholastic aptitude test and participate in a substantive selection assessing study readiness, field knowledge, track record, motivation, character, and planned contribution. Applicants should present a coherent narrative connecting past experience, the chosen degree, the problem they intend to address, and their future contribution to Indonesia. Preparation should begin well before the deadline because language tests, recommendation letters, admission letters, and document legalization may require substantial time. All information must be truthful and verifiable. A strong strategy is to select the most appropriate scholarship pathway, understand the assessment criteria, develop a realistic study plan, and provide concrete evidence that the scholarship investment will generate long-term public value.
